The Moomin by Arabia seasonal set, Fishing, continues the Moomins' summer adventures and features the Moomins' favorite pastime, fishing. The set, which has been decorated with a collage technique, includes a mug and a plate. The motifs of the Fishing set are based on Tove and Lars Jansson's three different series: Moomin Family and the Sea from 1957, Moomin at Sea from 1959 and Moomin and the Golden Tail from 1958.
Theme: The Moomins live near the sea and a river runs next to their house. Fishing is the Moomins' favorite pastime and they fish with nets, fishing rods and casting rods. The Moomin family travels to an island with a lighthouse and after a stormy night there are fish in all the rocky holes that the waves have brought there.
