The blue motif is based on the comic strip Moomin falls in love from 1956. It depicts a classic jealousy drama: Moomintroll falls in love with a glamorous theater actress, which makes Snorkmaiden both insecure and angry. To make things right, Moomintroll dramatically throws himself to the ground with his arms full of roses to make a grand enough love gesture. The irony is that the couple have already talked things out and resolved the conflict - but Moomintroll has hinted that Snorkmaiden still demands a scene worthy of their big fight!
