In 2026, Moomin Arabia celebrated the 30th anniversary of the beloved illustration “Love,” which depicts Moominvalley’s well-known sweethearts and friends, Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden. Love in all its forms has been the overarching theme of the year, with various aspects of love highlighted through several tribute collections.
“Gift of Love” is this year’s seasonal collection and replaces the traditional winter collection to mark the anniversary year of “Love.” ♥️

The new collection is all about appreciating the time we spend with friends, family, and other people who mean a lot to us. Especially around Christmas and the holidays, most of us seek out our loved ones. One of the best ways to strengthen that sense of togetherness and closeness is to do something together with the people around us. That’s what we want to inspire with Kärleksgåva, says Annika Tickle, Creative Director at Moomin Arabia.

Festive fun with the Moomin family:
The “Gift of Love” collection features a new color palette of green, mustard yellow, and beige. The illustrations and patterns on the products are inspired by Tove Jansson’s 1958 comic strip *The Golden Tail*. In the story, Moomintroll becomes popular thanks to the glowing tuft at the very end of his tail. He is invited to a fancy party where everyone is in a festive mood, toasting, cheering, and dancing on the table. The designs also draw on details from the comic strips *The Family Lives It Up* (1955) and *We’re Starting a New Life* (1956).
