This lovely mug has two handles and a lid. The lid has a silicone non-spill valve that allows the cup to be held upside down without leaking. The valve can be easily removed and washed. As the child grows and no longer needs a spill-free cup, the valve is removed so that the child can gradually learn to hold the cup correctly. Eventually, the lid can be removed completely. The cup is just as nice to use without the lid! Suitable for children from 6 months. The mug itself can be washed in the machine on the top shelf at a maximum of 50 degrees but cannot be microwaved. The lid, however, should be washed by hand. Melamine is a hard plastic that can crack when falling and hitting, at the first sign of cracks replace the product.
